Many lost power in Central Florida as Hurricane Milton passed through the region.

The Florida Public Service Commission is tracking these outage numbers as crews prepare to restore power after the storm passes.

Outage maps for Duke Energy and Florida Power & Lighting had over 600,000 outages each listed on Wednesday night — tallying up to over 1.2 million homes in Florida without power.

Of those, Duke Energy had nearly 350,000 along the Gulf Coast near Tampa Bay. Similarly, FPL counted over 350,000 between Manatee and Sarasota counties.

As of 12 p.m. Friday, at least 2,342,904 outages were reported statewide, according to the PSC.

Within Central Florida, the numbers as of 12 p.m. Friday are as follows:
