  1. Horrible lunch. Ordered salad of the day (cod) and vegetarian salad. Tomatoes weren’t ripe and cod was partially raw. Confronted the server who said it was normally cooked following their technique : cook, freeze, then thaw to serve (which in itself is appalling for restaurant quality). Maybe the cooking was supposed to be finished in a hot dish but did not get done because it was a salad. Vegetarian salad was basically a can salad, with canned mushrooms, canned corn, canned pineapple, canned chickpeas (which weren’t part of the dish), probably would’ve gotten the lettuce from a can if they could. Finally, service was awkward and seemed as if they purposefully ignored our table after confronting them. Only 2 star for atmosphere for the guy playing guitar on the other side of the road.

  2. Not impressed. Worst pizza I’ve had in ages and so overpriced! Definitely don’t bother order it. 12€ for this hard bread with toppings is a crime! Call it what you want but not pizza please! The soup was nice but cold..how can a soup be served cold? Good thing daughter enjoyed her spaghetti bolognese but she left the meat as it didn’t taste of anything according to her. I won’t recommend this place and it’s a shame we ended our holiday at this restaurant as we had great experiences around Coimbra.

  3. Stopped by for dinner and ordered two meals – calamari which inexplicably comes with fries, rice and salad. Despite being this close to the ocean the calamari is a dried up frozen variety – yuk. Our other order was salmon salad – we made the mistake of not asking how the salad was prepared and it arrived cold smoked which is always unappetizing, particularly on a salad. The salad consisted of lettuce, shaved carrots, olives and very under ripe tomatoes – that’s it – for 12 euros. We also ordered a bottle of water but it never came.

  4. Tuna salad was okay. The pizza dough had a dark brown slimy layer on the top. We showed the waiter and they took it away to bin it. They were very sorry. However the chef should not be sending out pizza in such a bad state.
