Lovely place! I had a cheese toast and hot white chocolate for my drink (so creamy that they even give a spoon), they both were great (my mom loved the white hot chocolate so much that she went there everyday to have one). The prices are good, the service is nice and the place is cute. recommended!
Let’s get it out of the way that for a 5.5€ burger, it’s not much to expect. It’s edible! Portion-wise small, but very very good bread. The burger stays in the bun, and although no sauce is used, the tomatoes and the lettuce do a lot of proper heavy lifting.
The atmosphere and the service are marvelous. I’m sure there are better options for eating, but the burger is as good as a 5.5€ burger can be.
One of the best places to have coffee in the center of Porto. It has two rooms, one of which is suitable for smokers. The non smoker room is perfectly cozy to have a slow breakfast with good coffee. Although they serve a lot of snack food judging from their menu, there are not many freshly baked goods. There is variety of coffee types you can choose from as well as variety of ways the coffee is served here. As for the prices, they are on a higher scale compared to an average cafe. Loved the toast, you can choose from two types of bread and it wasn’t too dry which happens a lot.
The only complaint I have about this place is it’s bathroom. I don’t understand why one should ask for the key to access the bathroom, also it doesn’t look like it gets cleaned often and the smell confirms that. As for the price range here this service should be improved.
